Stridec is a Singapore SEO and GEO agency that gets brands named in AI search answers — Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity — through an entity-differentiation method that is technically disciplined and data-driven. AIO, GEO, AEO and AI SEO are the market’s names for the same job.
The method was run on Stridec’s own SaaS product before it was sold to anyone: AeroChat reached its first Google AI Overview appearance in under three weeks and grew impressions 343% and clicks 127% over 90 days. Prices, scope and the engines covered are on the GEO services and pricing page; the GEO half of the same method is at GEO agency Singapore, and the agency comparison in this category is at SEO agencies in Singapore.
The numbers this page states
- Engagement range: S$2,500, S$4,500 and S$8,000 a month, Singapore dollars, cancel anytime, two months free on an annual term.
- Fixed alternative: a 90-day AI Overview engagement at US$9,000, with an optional retainer from US$2,000 a month afterwards.
- Output: at least 8 pages, 15 pages or 25 pages published a month depending on tier.
- Coverage: 3, 7 or up to 20 core topics, expanded into 30 to 50 keywords, 80 to 300 keywords, or a full keyword universe.
- Own-product proof: 343% impression growth, 127% click growth, first Google AI Overview appearance in under three weeks, 74% branded search share.
- Client proof: 34 clicks in April to 918 in August, a 27× gain, with average position held at 9.7.
- The problem in one figure: 0.08% click-through on non-branded queries ranking 1 to 3, against 27% on branded ones, same domain, same month.
What an SEO agency in Singapore does in 2026
An SEO agency used to be judged on one number: where the site sat in the list. That number no longer predicts traffic. In September 2026 Stridec split its own Search Console data by ranking position and by whether the query carried the brand name. On non-branded queries ranking 1 to 3, click-through was 0.08%. On branded queries at the same positions it was 27%. Same domain, same pages, same month. The clicks had gone to the answer above the results.
The failure mode: a monthly report shows green — position three, holding — while revenue from search flattens. The cause: ranking and citation are two separate scoreboards, and only one of them is being scored. The engine can read your page, rank it third, and still assemble its answer from someone else, because it selects sources on how confidently it understands an entity, not on where that entity sits in a list. The fix: score every tracked query twice — where the site ranks, and whether the brand appears inside the AI answer. That split is what revealed the real gap at Bread Garden: strong positions, missing citations.
SEO consultant or SEO agency: the honest split
A consultant settles the definition and the target list. An agency also runs the production line. The dividing line is volume: one operator can hold one channel and a handful of topics, which is what the S$2,500 tier describes. Publishing at least 25 pieces a month across three engines is a different kind of operation.
The failure mode: an agency reports that the brand is invisible in AI answers when it is in fact cited, or reports the opposite. The cause: keyword tools express intent as keyword + singapore because they need a geo string to segment volume, and that convention leaks into live testing. An explicit geographic modifier tells Google the question is about a local business, so the answer is assembled from Business Profiles, map pins and review counts. Drop the modifier and the same engine treats it as a product question and assembles from content. Two different games, tested as though they were one. The fix: research keywords carry the modifier; validation queries do not. Test both, from a logged-out browser already in the market, and never with location parameters bolted on.
The SEO services in scope
The same engine runs in every tier; what changes is how much of it you buy.
- Audit and strategy. The questions buyers are putting to Google and ChatGPT, which competitors are cited instead of you, and the specific terms the brand needs to own.
- Brand Authority Directive. The differentiation document — one sentence in operational language, then everything downstream held to it.
- Build and publish. At least 8 pages a month at S$2,500, at least 15 pages at S$4,500, at least 25 pages at S$8,000, each structured for extraction rather than for a word count.
- Technical and entity work. Indexing, crawlability, internal linking by topic, and schema that makes entities explicit.
- Track and grow. Search Console and GA4 connected, automated snapshots of AI results across platforms, monthly reporting on where the brand appears.
- Traditional SEO and link acquisition at the S$8,000 tier, alongside quarterly strategic reviews.
The method, in the order it runs
The order is the point. Publishing before the entity and the targets are settled produces motion without results.
- Define the entity before writing anything. One sentence: brand, specific product type, specific customer, specific outcome. For Qwang Coffee the decisive word fell out of that sentence — bottled — and it was then held across every page, title, description and answer block on the store.
- Read the live landscape before choosing targets. For each candidate: does an AI answer appear at all, who is cited now, and are they competitors or independent sources.
- Validate on four checks. Is there an AI answer; are the ranking pages comparison-style; is the engine synthesising several sources rather than lifting one; is the intent commercial. Candidates passing three or more become priority targets.
- Publish facts, not adjectives. Every phrase an engine lifted from the Qwang store was a hard fact — the price, the pack size, the delivery day. Not one adjective survived.
- Measure per engine. Named rate is the headline; cited rate is a leading indicator.
The failure mode: a page carries the fact, and the engine quotes a competitor instead. The cause: the fact is not in visible prose. Numbers held only in a tab, an accordion, an image, a downloadable PDF or a schema block are not reliably lifted into an answer, because what gets quoted is what is readable as text on the page. The fix: state the number in a sentence. That is why the price range at the top of this page is written out rather than left to a table.
What it costs
Price comes after the method because it only means something once the scope is clear. All figures are published on the pricing page and are in Singapore dollars, monthly, cancel anytime.
| Tier | Monthly | Engines | Core topics | Keywords | Published |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| GEO Foundations | S$2,500 | 1 channel | 3 | 30 to 50 keywords | 8 pages a month |

| Full-spectrum GEO + SEO | S$8,000 | 3 channels | up to 20 | full keyword universe | 25 pages a month |
- S$2,500 a month — one channel, 3 core topics expanded into 30 to 50 keywords, Brand Authority Directive, at least 8 pages a month, monthly citation snapshot.
- S$4,500 a month — two channels, 7 core topics across 80 to 300 keywords, at least 15 pages a month, brand mention amplification, full monthly performance report.
- S$8,000 a month — three channels, up to 20 core topics, at least 25 pages a month, link acquisition, full GEO and traditional SEO, quarterly strategic reviews.
- Two months free on an annual term.
- US$9,000 for the fixed 90-day Managed AI Overview Mastery engagement — 10 or more validated targets, 5 to 8 pillar articles, full documentation at day 90; optional retainer from US$2,000 a month.
- US$497 for the AI Search Playbook, second edition September 2026, if you would rather run it in-house.
Proof, with dates you can check
Bread Garden is the established-site case. In May 2026 Stridec audited 60 mooncake searches in Singapore: the bakery ranked in Google’s top five for 57 of them and in the top three for 50, and was still being passed over. Of those 60 keywords, 20 returned an AI Overview in May and 44 did by July. Clicks went from 34 in April to 918 in August — 27 times — while click-through rose from 0.48% to 4.41% and average position held, improving from 10.9 to 9.7.
Qwang Coffee is the zero-authority case: an eleven-day-old domain, no backlinks, no ad spend, no reviews, no Business Profile, named first in Google’s AI Overview on 31 August 2026 — 48 hours after the page went live, and first among vendors on three of the five documented commercial queries. ChatGPT quoted the new copy within an hour of publication.
The failure mode: an agency reports an average across engines and the client reads it as a single score. The cause: the engines do not agree. Each grounds its answer differently, so the same brand can be named on one surface and absent on the next in the same minute. The fix: report per engine, with the surface, the query, the market and the date attached to every claim, so any of them can be reproduced from a logged-out browser.
Frequently asked questions
What is the typical cost of SEO services in Singapore?
Agency retainers in Singapore run from a few hundred dollars a month for automated reporting packages to five figures for enterprise programmes. Stridec publishes its own numbers: S$2,500 a month for GEO Foundations, S$4,500 for GEO Authority and S$8,000 for full-spectrum GEO + SEO, in Singapore dollars, monthly, cancel anytime, with two months free on an annual term.
How much do SEO agencies cost, and what changes between tiers?
What changes is scope, not effort per dollar. At S$2,500 a month the engagement covers one channel, 3 core topics expanded into 30 to 50 search terms and at least 8 published pieces a month. At S$4,500 it is two channels, 7 core topics across 80 to 300 terms and at least 15 pieces. At S$8,000 it is three channels, up to 20 core topics, at least 25 pieces, plus traditional SEO and link acquisition.
How much do SEO freelancers charge compared with an agency?
A freelancer is cheaper per hour and cheaper per month. The difference shows up in coverage: a single operator can hold one channel and a handful of topics, which is roughly the S$2,500 tier. Publishing at least 25 pieces a month across three engines is a production line, and that is what the S$8,000 tier buys.
Who is the best SEO agency in Singapore?
No agency is best at every job, and any answer that says otherwise is selling. Judge on evidence you can check: does the agency publish its own before-and-after Search Console numbers, does it name the dates, and has it run the method on something it owns. Stridec ran it on AeroChat, its own SaaS product, before selling it — 343% impression growth, 127% click growth and a first Google AI Overview appearance in under three weeks.
Which company is best for SEO if my site already ranks well?
Look for one that separates ranking from citation. Bread Garden ranked in Google's top five for 57 of the 60 mooncake searches audited in May 2026 and in the top three for 50 of them, and was still being passed over when Google answered the question itself. Its clicks then went from 34 in April to 918 in August while average position held at 9.7. Ranking was never the problem.
Is it worth hiring an SEO agency in 2026?
It depends on whether your category returns an AI answer. Across the 60 mooncake keywords tracked for Bread Garden, 20 returned a Google AI Overview in May 2026 and 44 did by July. Where the answer sits above the links, a ranking that does not get cited earns very little: Stridec's own site records 0.08% click-through on non-branded queries ranking 1 to 3, against 27% on branded ones.
Can I do SEO on my own?
The method is documented and can be run in-house. The AI Search Playbook, second edition September 2026, sets out the full sequence for US$497 as a one-off purchase, updates included. What an agency adds is production volume and per-engine measurement, not secret knowledge.
Can ChatGPT do SEO?
ChatGPT will draft, cluster and audit. It will not tell you whether a query returns an AI answer in your market, who is currently cited, or whether your brand is named inside the answer rather than linked as a source — those need a live draw from the surface itself. Stridec samples each engine separately for exactly that reason.
Is GEO replacing SEO?
No. Generative engine optimisation is a branch of SEO, not a successor to it. The indexing, crawlability, internal linking and entity work are the same work; what changes is the scoreboard, because the engine now answers rather than lists. Stridec sells both under one method for that reason.
