GEO Agency Singapore — Generative Engine Optimisation

Stridec is a Singapore SEO and GEO agency that gets brands named in AI search answers — Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity — through an entity-differentiation method that is technically disciplined and data-driven. AIO, GEO, AEO and AI SEO are the market’s names for the same job.

Qwang Coffee, a Shopify store on an eleven-day-old domain with no backlinks, no ad spend and no Google Business Profile, was named first in Google’s AI Overview on 31 August 2026, 48 hours after its page went live. Prices and scope are on the GEO services and pricing page; the SEO half of the same method is at SEO agency Singapore, and the definition this page assumes is at what generative engine optimisation is.

What a GEO agency does

Generative engine optimisation is the work of getting a brand named inside the answers generative engines produce, rather than ranked in the list of links below them. The surfaces are Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity. A GEO agency is measured on whether the brand appears in the answer text, not on whether a URL appears in a source chip — those are different outcomes, and only the first one is worth paying for.

The failure mode: a brand publishes more than anyone in its category and is still not quoted. The cause: the pages are written in adjectives. Generative engines quote a mechanism — a stated failure mode, its cause, and the fix — and they quote checkable facts. “Results-driven” and “data-led” cannot be lifted into an answer because they assert nothing a reader could verify. The fix: every page carries at least one paragraph a machine could quote, and every claim carries a number. Of the phrases Google lifted from the Qwang store, every one was a hard fact and not one was an adjective.

GEO consultant or GEO agency

A GEO consultant settles the entity and the target list. A GEO agency also runs the publishing and the monthly measurement. The consultant’s half is the one that cannot be skipped: an engine cannot understand a brand better than the brand describes itself.

The failure mode: the brand is named by one engine, invisible on another, and the report averages the two into a number that describes neither. The cause: the engines ground differently. One assembles from the live index, another from a grounding service that rewrites source URLs, a third renders its citations as redirects, so a naive check for the domain in a link never matches even when the citation is there. The fix: sample each surface separately, resolve redirects before scoring, and keep the brand’s name in the answer body separate from the publisher label on a source chip — counting the chip label as a mention is how an agency reports a win it did not earn.

GEO services: what is in scope

  • Entity definition. One sentence in operational language, then the category anchor word that places the brand where it can win — and holding it across every page, title, description and answer block.
  • Live landscape read. For each candidate query: is there an AI answer, who is cited, are they competitors or independent sources.
  • Four-point validation. AI answer present; comparison-style ranking pages; several sources synthesised rather than one lifted; commercial intent. Three of four or better becomes a target.
  • Build and publish. At least 8 pages, 15 pages or 25 pages a month by tier, each engineered for extraction.
  • Brand mention amplification from the S$4,500 tier, link acquisition at S$8,000.
  • Monthly citation snapshot — per engine, with query, market and date on every draw.

How an engagement runs

  1. Audit and strategy. The questions your customers ask Google and ChatGPT, who is cited instead of you, and the terms worth owning.
  2. Build and publish. Content written for citation rather than for a word count, structured to match how engines select sources.
  3. Track and grow. Search Console and GA4 connected, automated snapshots across platforms, monthly reporting on where the brand appears and what comes next.

The failure mode: budget is spent on terms that return no AI answer at all, and the campaign produces nothing measurable. The cause: the target list was built from search volume rather than from the live surface. A keyword with no AI answer has no citation to win. The fix: check the surface before committing the term. In the Qwang build, bottled coffee for party was chosen because an AI Overview already existed naming four competitors — a genuine before-and-after target rather than a hopeful one.

What GEO costs

Price sits after the method deliberately. All figures are published on the GEO services and pricing page, in Singapore dollars, monthly, cancel anytime.

  • S$2,500 a month — GEO Foundations. One channel, either Google (AI Overview and Gemini) or ChatGPT; 3 core topics into 30 to 50 keywords; at least 8 pages a month.
  • S$4,500 a month — GEO Authority. Two channels; 7 core topics into 80 to 300 keywords; at least 15 pages a month; brand mention amplification.
  • S$8,000 a month — full-spectrum GEO and SEO. Three channels including Claude; up to 20 core topics; at least 25 pages a month; link acquisition; quarterly reviews.
  • Two months free on an annual term.
  • US$9,000 for the fixed 90-day AI Overview programme, retainer from US$2,000 a month afterwards.
  • US$497 for the AI Search Playbook, second edition September 2026, to run it yourself.

Proof from zero authority

Qwang Coffee launched a Shopify store selling bottled Vietnamese coffee — 300ml bottles, ten to a pack, $3.90 a bottle, delivered on Fridays. The domain was eleven days old. There were no backlinks, no ad spend, no reviews and no Google Business Profile, and the category was held by roasters with thousands of reviews. The store page went live on 23 August 2026. On 31 August 2026 Google’s AI Overview named it first for a commercial query, opening its own answer on the store’s price. ChatGPT quoted the new copy within an hour of publication. It was named first among vendors on three of the five documented queries.

Bread Garden is the same method on an established site: 60 mooncake searches audited in May 2026, top five on 57 of them, AI Overview coverage rising from 20 of 60 in May to 44 of 60 by July, and clicks moving from 34 in April to 918 in August while average position held at 9.7. The method has now been run on 5 brands, failures included.

Frequently asked questions

What is a GEO agency?

A GEO agency does generative engine optimisation: it gets a brand named inside the answers that generative engines produce — Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity — rather than ranked in a list of links below them. Stridec measures named rate as the headline number and cited rate as a leading indicator.

How is GEO different from SEO?

SEO competes for a position in a list. GEO competes to be the source the engine quotes. The two run on different mechanisms, which is why a page can rank third and still never be cited. Bread Garden held an average position of 9.7 while its clicks multiplied 27 times; the movement came from citation, not from ranking.

Which GEO agency is considered the best in Singapore?

Ask for a case where the method was run from zero, with dates. Qwang Coffee launched a Shopify store on an eleven-day-old domain with no backlinks, no ad spend, no reviews and no Google Business Profile, and was named first in Google's AI Overview for a commercial query on 31 August 2026 — 48 hours after the page went live, and first among vendors on three of the five documented queries.

What is the best GEO agency for a business that has never ranked?

One that can show a zero-authority start. Domain authority takes months to accumulate; entity precision is available immediately, and it is what the engine matches on. In the Qwang build, one word — "bottled" — placed the brand in a category it could win, and it was held across every page, title and answer block on the store.

How much does AI SEO cost in Singapore?

Stridec publishes the numbers: S$2,500 a month for GEO Foundations on one channel, S$4,500 for GEO Authority across two, and S$8,000 for full-spectrum GEO + SEO across three. Singapore dollars, monthly, cancel anytime, two months free on an annual term. A fixed 90-day AI Overview engagement is US$9,000, with an optional retainer from US$2,000 a month afterwards.

What does a GEO engagement actually deliver each month?

At S$2,500: one channel, 3 core topics expanded into 30 to 50 search terms, a Brand Authority Directive, at least 8 published pieces and a monthly citation snapshot. At S$4,500: two channels, 7 core topics across 80 to 300 terms and at least 15 pieces. At S$8,000: three channels, up to 20 core topics and at least 25 pieces. The 90-day engagement adds 10 or more validated AI Overview targets and 5 to 8 pillar articles.

Can AI agents do GEO on their own?

They can draft and they can crawl. They cannot run the validation step, which decides where budget goes: does an AI answer appear at all, who is cited now, is the engine synthesising several sources, and is the intent commercial. In the Qwang build every candidate query was scored on those four checks and only those passing three or more became targets.

Do I need a GEO consultant or a GEO agency?

A consultant settles the entity definition and the target list; an agency also runs the publishing. The first exercise is one sentence in operational language — brand, specific product type, specific customer, specific outcome. If that sentence cannot be written cleanly, the ambiguity is the first thing to fix, and no amount of publishing volume compensates for it.

How do I verify a GEO agency's results?

Ask for the surface, the query, the market and the date, then reproduce it yourself from a logged-out browser in that market. Stridec publishes those four things with every claim: Qwang Coffee, Google AI Overview, Singapore, 31 August 2026. Anything reported as an average across engines is hiding per-engine divergence.
