7 Best GEO and AI SEO Agencies in Malaysia (2026), Compared

If you want your brand named when someone in Malaysia asks ChatGPT, Gemini or Google for a recommendation, you need an agency that does GEO, not only classic SEO. This list compares seven agencies that sell GEO or AI SEO to Malaysian businesses. For each one it covers where they are based, what they offer, what they charge where they publish it, and who they suit.

Disclosure: Stridec wrote this comparison and placed itself first. Read our entry with that in mind, and read the others for the cases where they are the better hire. We say where those are. Every figure attributed to another agency is that agency’s own published claim, taken from its website on 2 November 2026, with a link so you can check it.

The short version

  • Stridec is the choice if you want published prices from S$2,500 a month, cancel anytime, and AI answers measured per engine from Malaysia.
  • Primal and LOCUS-T are the large, award-winning Malaysian agencies, best if you want a big local team.
  • Cleverus sells GEO only to businesses that already have SEO in place, on quarterly terms.
  • Oblique publishes the highest GEO price range here, RM10,000 to RM30,000 a month, and pairs it with brand work.
  • MYSense and Hypercharge focus on Malaysian SMEs, with large numbers of Google reviews.

How we compared them

We started from what the AI engines themselves recommend. On 2 November 2026 we asked 15 buyer questions from a Malaysian location, such as “best GEO agency Malaysia” and “SEO consultant Malaysia”, across Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Gemini, ChatGPT and Claude. That gave 270 answers. The agencies below are the ones those answers named most often that sell GEO or AI SEO.

Then we read each agency’s own website and recorded only what it states: location, services, prices and numbers. Where an agency does not publish something, we say so rather than guess. Two agencies the engines named often are not here: SEO.my, because it doesn’t sell a GEO service, and Rankpage, because we couldn’t load its website to check its claims.

1. Stridec: best for published prices and AI answers measured per engine

Best for: Malaysian brands that want to be named in AI answers, with prices they can see up front and results they can check themselves.

Stridec is a Singapore-based GEO/SEO agency that helps brands get recommended by AI searches such as Google, ChatGPT and Claude. We serve clients across Southeast Asia, Malaysia included, as well as North America, and we have worked in search since 2001. We don’t have a Malaysian office. We run the work from Singapore and check AI answers from a Malaysian location, because the engines answer differently depending on where the question is asked.

Prices: S$2,500 a month for GEO Foundations (one channel, Google or ChatGPT), S$4,500 for GEO Authority (Google and ChatGPT) and S$8,000 for Full-Spectrum GEO + SEO (Google, ChatGPT and Claude). Prices are in Singapore dollars, monthly, cancel anytime, with two months free on an annual term. Details are on the pricing page.

Proof: the method was built on founder Alva Chew’s own businesses first. AeroChat, Alva’s own software product, reached its first Google AI Overview in under three weeks in early 2026. Qwang Coffee, Alva’s own Shopify store, was cited in a Google AI Overview within 48 hours of its domain being registered, in Singapore. Both are on the case studies page.

Choose someone else if: you want a large local team in the room, or a single agency for ads, social and brand work as well as search. The larger Malaysian agencies below do that.

More on our approach: GEO agency Malaysia and SEO agency Malaysia.

2. Primal: best for a large regional team with separate AI SEO, AEO and GEO services

Best for: larger brands that want one agency across several markets.

Primal is based at KL Eco City in Kuala Lumpur, with offices in Bangkok and Singapore. It says it has grown to “150+” people since 2015 and works with “300+” brand partners across “8 markets, 3 hubs”. It runs separate pages for AI SEO, AEO and GEO, and also sells ChatGPT Ads.

Price: GEO “Programs from RM5,500 a month”. Recognition: lists awards including Gold for Search Marketing Agency of the Year at Agency of the Year Malaysia, and Google Partner Premier 2026. It shows a Google rating of 4.9.

Choose Primal if: you want scale and regional reach, in sectors it lists such as healthcare, finance, real estate, education, F&B, retail and luxury.

3. LOCUS-T: best for the longest track record in Malaysian SEO

Best for: SMEs and multinationals that want an established local agency.

LOCUS-T is based at Menara Access World in Petaling Jaya, with a Penang office since 2016. Its homepage cites “over 25 years” in business, and it describes itself as “trusted by over 7,000 SMEs and MNCs” and as the “Largest SEO Agency in Malaysia” in the Malaysia Book of Records. GEO and AEO are covered inside its AI SEO page rather than as separate services.

Price: not published. Packages are customised. Recognition: a long list of awards from 2014 to 2026, including Gold for Search Agency of the Year at Agency of the Year 2025.

Choose LOCUS-T if: a long history and size matter most to you, and AI search is one part of a broader SEO programme.

4. Cleverus: best for adding GEO on top of existing SEO

Best for: businesses that already have SEO in place and want to extend it to AI answers.

Cleverus is headquartered at The Gardens South Tower in Mid Valley City, Kuala Lumpur, with an office in Iloilo, Philippines. It says it was founded in 2013 and has “helped 100+ clients”. Its GEO service page covers ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews and says the service suits businesses “that already have their SEO foundation in place”. It also sells ChatGPT Ads, and shows a Google Premier Partner 2026 badge.

Price: not published. It works on “quarterly commitments” with “no long-term lock-ins”.

Choose Cleverus if: your SEO is already in good shape and you want a quarterly GEO engagement on top of it.

5. Oblique: best for GEO paired with brand and creative work

Best for: larger consumer brands with a bigger monthly budget.

Oblique is based at Menara K1 on Jalan Klang Lama, Kuala Lumpur, established in 2016. It lists “25 Specialists”, “300+” brands and an “85%+” retention rate. It has a separate GEO page that also covers AEO and AI Overviews, and a free AI visibility checker. Its GEO case studies are in e-commerce, retail and student accommodation.

Price: GEO “typically range from RM 10,000 to RM 30,000 per month”, the highest published range in this list.

Choose Oblique if: you want GEO run alongside brand and creative work by the same team, and the budget fits.

6. MYSense: best for Malaysian SMEs with local service businesses

Best for: clinics, restaurants, workshops and professional firms.

MYSense is based at Jaya One in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. It cites “300+ brands”, a “96% Client Retention Rate” and a Google rating of 4.9 from 152 reviews. Its GEO services page calls MYSense “Malaysia’s #1 GEO Agency”, which is its own description, and says GEO is “especially powerful for Malaysian SMEs”.

Price: not published. It offers a free strategy session.

Choose MYSense if: you are a local SME, especially a service business, and want an agency that focuses on that kind of client.

7. Hypercharge: best for adding GEO to an SEO retainer at a known cost

Best for: SMEs that want GEO as an add-on rather than a separate programme.

Hypercharge is based at G Tower on Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur. It cites “160+ Malaysian businesses served”, is an official Google Partner and shows 71 Google reviews on its site. Its AI search optimisation page covers ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews. It has industry pages for healthcare, beauty, legal, professional services, e-commerce and automotive.

Price: GEO “typically adds RM2,000 to RM3,000 per month to the base SEO retainer”.

Choose Hypercharge if: you already plan to buy SEO and want GEO added at a stated monthly cost.

How to choose

Ask every agency on your shortlist for the same four things with each result it claims: the engine, the question, the market and the date. Then type the question yourself into a logged-out browser in Malaysia and see who comes back. An agency that reports one “AI visibility” score across every engine is hiding the fact that each engine answers differently.

Then match the shape of the engagement to your situation. If you have no SEO base, look for an agency that does both. If you already have strong SEO, a GEO add-on or a quarterly GEO engagement may be enough.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a GEO agency cost in Malaysia?

Among the agencies here that publish prices, GEO starts at RM2,000 to RM3,000 a month as an add-on to an SEO retainer (Hypercharge), from RM5,500 a month (Primal), and RM10,000 to RM30,000 a month (Oblique). Stridec charges S$2,500, S$4,500 or S$8,000 a month. LOCUS-T, Cleverus and MYSense quote on request.

What is the difference between GEO and SEO?

SEO works on where your page ranks in the list of links. GEO, generative engine optimisation, works on whether your brand is named inside the answer an AI engine writes. GEO has nothing to do with geography. Most of the agencies here sell both.

Can a Singapore agency do GEO for a Malaysian business?

Yes. The engines are the same in both countries. What matters is checking answers from a Malaysian location and knowing which Malaysian sources the engines read for your questions.

Agency details were taken from each agency’s own website on 2 November 2026. Prices and claims change, so check the linked pages before you decide.
