People are asking Google and ChatGPT where to eat tonight. The answer is sending them to the restaurant down the road.
You never see it happen. Three or four names come back, and they book one of them. If you’re not in that answer, you were never in the running. We fix that, and show you how to keep it fixed.
Two extra tables a week covers it.
At S$70 a head, 36 extra diners a month pays the fee. Everything after that is yours.
at S$50 a head
at S$70 a head
at S$100 a head
Four things, over six months.
We get your details straight everywhere
Google, your website, Facebook, Instagram, the booking apps. Same address, same hours, same description. When they don’t match, the AI engines quietly leave you out.
We write up why people should pick you
Your dishes, your hours, your private room, your spot. On your own website, in plain words the engines can lift.
We get you onto the food lists the engines copy from
The answers come from a short list of food sites and best-of lists. We work to get you on the ones that matter for your cuisine.
We show you the result every month
Same diner questions, every month, and which answers now name you. You can type them into Google yourself and see the same thing.
- Six months. S$15,000 in total, billed monthly
- Nothing extra to buy
- At the end it’s all yours. Nothing renews unless you say so
Then it’s yours.
You keep everything: the corrected listings, the new pages, the list of questions we track, and a one-page routine for each month. AI answers shift over time, so that routine is what keeps you in them.
Do it yourself, or ask us to carry on. Either is fine with us.
Who we are.
Stridec is a Singapore SEO and GEO agency, and one of the most cited agencies in AI answers for its own field. We’ve worked with Singapore F&B since 2016: Gary’s, Tonkichi, Rive Gauche, Soup Restaurant and Bread Garden.
Common questions about GEO for F&B.
What is GEO for restaurants?
GEO is short for generative engine optimisation. For a restaurant it means being one of the few places an AI engine actually names when someone asks where to eat, instead of one of many links further down the page. It comes down to your Google Business Profile, your website and the food lists the engines trust, all saying the same thing and saying it clearly.
How does Google decide which restaurants to name in an AI answer?
From what it already knows about each place. For a local question, your Business Profile category, rating, review count and opening hours carry most of the weight, and the food lists and reviews it has indexed carry the rest. A restaurant with the wrong category, two different addresses online or no presence in those lists is easy to leave out.
Does ChatGPT actually recommend restaurants in Singapore?
Yes. Ask it where to eat in a neighbourhood and it searches the web, shows a few map cards and names two or three places with reasons. It leans on Google Business Profiles, review sites and food blogs, and it will quote a restaurant's own website when the facts are stated plainly there.
We are already on Google Maps. Isn't that the same thing?
No. Maps shows a list of nearby places. An AI answer picks three or four and names them. You can be on the map and still be left out of the answer, and that is what we usually find on the first check.
Do Google reviews affect whether AI engines name a restaurant?
A lot. For local questions the AI answer is built largely from Business Profile cards, so your rating and review count sit right inside the answer. Recent reviews that mention specific dishes and occasions give the engines the exact words they are looking for.
Is this the same as SEO or local SEO?
It overlaps. Accurate listings, a readable website and reviews help all three. The difference is what gets measured. SEO measures where you rank in a list of links, local SEO measures the map pack, and GEO measures how often your restaurant is named inside the answer a diner actually reads. Stridec runs all three under one method.
Can we do GEO for our restaurant ourselves?
Yes. The method is written up in the AI Search Playbook, and the handover at the end of our programme is built so someone in-house can keep it going. Most owners ask us to do the first six months because the listing corrections, the writing and the food-list outreach take time they do not have.
