In one day we set out exactly what’s being built, in your own words: the users and their access, the data model and who owns it, the security and backup approach, the tech stack and why, how it deploys, how it fails and recovers, what it takes to run, and a build estimate broken down by module. You walk away with a document you own outright, whether or not you build it with us.

Common questions.

Can I use a government grant to fund this?
Most of our builds are self-funded, and that is deliberate. Grant routes add an application and approval cycle that can push your start date out by months, and they tend to suit pre-scoped, off-the-shelf tools more than a system built specifically for you. If grant support matters to you, raise it on the discovery call and we’ll be straight about whether it realistically fits. What we won’t do is pause your build waiting on an approval that may never come.
Why is the first step a paid Blueprint?
Because the hard, valuable part happens before any code is written: working out the users, the data, the security, the deployment, and the real cost to build and run. That thinking is the product. You walk away with a document you own outright, whether or not you build with us, so the fee buys something real on day one rather than a sales proposal.
How is this different from hiring a freelancer or a dev agency?
Anyone can write code now. What’s scarce is the judgement around it: access and roles, data ownership, security, failure handling, running costs, and a plan that survives contact with real users. We sell that judgement, quote a fixed price rather than an open-ended hourly bill, and hand you a system you fully own.
I already have an AI-generated mockup. Is that useful?
Yes. It’s a good way to show us the concept, and we fold it straight into the Blueprint. We keep what works and stay honest about the parts that still need building, which is usually the harder 80 percent: auth, roles, real data, error states, and deployment.
Do I own what you build?
Completely. You own the Blueprint document, the code, and the deployed system, including the credentials and infrastructure it runs on. There’s no lock-in and nothing you have to keep paying us for just to keep access.
What does maintenance cover?
Keeping the system running, patched, secure, and evolving as your needs change. It’s scoped and priced inside the Blueprint so there are no surprises, and the underlying infrastructure (hosting, APIs, model usage) is billed to you at cost.
How long until it’s live?
The Blueprint is a single working day plus a written spec within the week. Builds run in modules and ship in stages, so you usually see working pieces in weeks rather than waiting months for one big launch. Your exact timeline is set out in the Blueprint.
